I had a tick bite March 4 - followed a week later with brain fog, headache depression, sleepiness, Heart heaviness, Shortness of Breath, slightly swollen ankles. I have low thyroid, and my thyroid seemed way out of wack - or adreanal?, they seem to feel the same in me. the test taken 2 weeks (after bite) titer came back negative. I started doxycycline after 2 1/2 weeks of bite (I insisted) - 200 mg daily for 10 days. From what I've read since, that doesn't seem adequate. I feel better, but not great (finished medication a week ago) - tierd alot, but poor sleep but no headache, thyroid/adreanal/heart - feels funny. I would like to rule out (or confirm) Lyme, and hit it more agressivly if positive. Who can do this for me close to Richmond VA? Oh! deer tick, red and puffy bite site, no rings around it. Can still see the bite, but healing.
thanks!

Someone mentioned there are no llmd's in Richmond. You will have to travel to NoVA/MD or DC. Hopefully someone will be along with a list for VA.
