Having issues figuring this out. First test for Lyme came back positive but the second came back neg. Doc does not believe it is lyme but almost every symptom I have (17 so far) point to lyme. Neurologist says RSD but that only covers two of the 17 symptoms. What can I do? Have been having health issues for almost 2 years now and no closer to solution. Have lost about 20 lbs, have night sweats, memory loss, severe pain in left wrist/hand and many other issues.

Help?

The fibromyalgia I've had for 32 years was an undiagnosed Lyme symptom.

"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". -Jeremiah 29:11

Thank you for the posting thus far though both those docs are a ways from me lol...I am MUCH closer to Lancaster. Just don't have the money to someone that does not accept insurance. I sadly have been out of work for a month now and money is tight.

Sending you a PM. Although many really good LLMDs do not accept insurance.

That is not uncommon. Lyme is a clinical diagnoses. Place a post in our Medical section about this to learn more. A negative test does not mean you don't have lyme. The tests are highly unreliable, hence; the need to see a lyme literate doctor.
