Hi All

I'm a recovered (99% as good as before!) lymie. A colleague came asking me for help -- her young nephew (about 10 years old?) is very ill with lyme. His family is currently in Vietnam for his dad's work, but they will be returning to CT soon to seek treatment for this very sick kid (nobody knows about Lyme in Vietnam; he contracted the lyme in the eastern US before they moved out there.)

Any suggestions for lyme specialists in the CT or tri-state area that can or will treat kids would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Kim

Hi Kimwg:

Your friend may not be aware of the controversy of diagnosing and treating Lyme & its co infections.

Some video's on the controversy.

There is also Dr M near Hartford. He treats my kids. Although Dr M and Dr J have waiting lists, you can often get into either Dr. sooner if you can go at the last minute. Just ask to be put on a waiting list and often an opening crops up within a week or two.
