Just happened to stumble upon this website and very thankful I have found something. Briefly, my husband has been in terrible joint pain for over a year now never getting a difinitive diagnosis. First RA, then Lupus, now its not either. Being an outdoorsman we highly suspect lyme. Desparately seeking answers, noone has been able to help, and the doc he sees now is about to give up on him, (exact words)nice huh??! Looking for the best doctor in NY!

Thank you all so much for your responses. It's hard finding an understanding doctor who doesn't think "its all in your head"! My husband has suffered a long time and we still have no diagnosis. Thanks again! I will keep everyone updated.

Dear Woodsy, I'm over in Marcellus (near Syracuse NY) and in need of a lyme literate doctor as well. April 1 I found the bulls eye with an engorged tick. Up here, my GP said it couldn't be tested. So I brought it down to Greenwich CT lab. Still waiting for reply on this. In the meantime, please let me hear if you find someone to help. Anyone else know of an upstate NY LL doc?
