I'm looking for a LLMD doc, in the NY area. I heard Westchester Medical had an excellent Lyme department. I'm in Ulster county (don't mind traveling a bit) and the doctors here aren't as LL as I think they should be.

My daughter has a complicated case history. No 'real' symptoms now, but still showing high levels of IgM's. When she was ill, there was a rash and she had migraines, chronic fatigue. But she was treated, (one month oral, one month IV) and got better. Now, 3 years later she is still showing high levels of acute Lyme.
I believe she needs a battery of test to see exactly what's going on, and put on a treatment regime and supplements. She has always suffered from weakness in her limbs, and low blood pressure, (gets dizzy when she stands) but it's never been 'bad'. She's high functioning. When she got the rash 3 years ago the doc thought she'd had Lyme before and the rash was a reoccurence. I'm thinking the same.

Anyway....I need to talk to a doc who had a lot of experience with this.

Any suggestions? Recommendations? All would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Gina

Stay away from Westchester medical center. You won't get any help there. Home to the 21 day cure and IDSA stooges.

Westechester medical will completely screw you over. THey're largely behind the Lyme disease coverup.
