A year ago my wife was not able to function and I thought she would die. We then discovered by researching her symptoms to have her tested at igenex for lyme disease as in the previous years she had had the elisha test 3 times with no success. I then came to this site to find a doctor and was helped by a woman with the disease herself and she recomended Dr. C in Missouri. My wife drove to tn today to pick up the grandchildren to spend three days with them at our home. A year ago my wife could not drive because of her medical condition. Need to say the infectious doctor we delt with in Bowling Green Ky still does not believe people can have lyme in this state. She is not totally well but she can function as a human being. We both set on the front porch last night with our grandchildren and talked about how bad she was last five years and how she got worse before she started to get better in the latter part of last year and are so thankfull for doctors such as Dr. C in Missouri who know exactly what they are doing when it comes to this disease.

I have an appointment with him in about a week. I am from south dakota and have about a 7hour drive to make it down there...and im wondering if i should still go. I went to an llmd in the meantime to get started on orals...doxy, amoxy and zithromax is what im taking along with other things. Could i possibly ask what he does to treat you specifically? I know everyone is different but is there something he does/uses that might make it worth my time/money? thank you very much i am so glad your wife is improving!!

Ahodge01, there's not a cure for all. Some are just very fortunate to go into remission.
Some could really be cured....that is called a gift. Good for you! 5k's? I'm impressed.
I loved Dr C even though he wasn't my miracle doc. I didn't find him until I was all abx'ed out and worse.
I was blessed by his ability to look outside the box and his encouragement to keep looking at alternative things to help me.
