Hi. I need an LLMD that accepts Empire Blue Cross insurance if possible near Albany NY. My pcp only treated me for 21 days with antibiotic and noticed improvement. She will not continue this path fearing that I will build an immunity to the drug. I tested neg 3x with a Lyme test but had the bullseye rash and all the symptoms which are now worsening (headache, joint pain, chest pain, dizzy, fatigue, etc) again. I'm going on 12 weeks since the rash and have read horror stories about pcps not treating fully or not at all for Lyme. I also cannot get into Albany Med infectious disease because of my "diagnosis". Not sure what they were sent, but according to the nurse in my docs office there isn't a diagnosis yet. I know it's Lyme from all of the research and early treatment with doxycycline is usually successful. Why is my pcp not giving it to me and why can't she get me into a specialist?? I was tested for other similar symptom diseases, but all were negative. Please help.

I am located in Chatham NY and am looking for LLMD. I have seen a few but I am always interested in any new info. I guess we are not allowed to say any names or comments so I am not sure how we communicate this info? If anyone can enlighten me as to how we can talk to each other?
