Sorry for a second post, I made one yesterday looking for an LLMD between the Central VA/Northeastern NC area. I'm really just looking to be seen within the next two months by an LLMD who has success with neuroborreliosis and is open to IV ABX. Willing to fly, just hoping to have short period to appointment as I have to wait another three months to be seen by one of the best. Any help is greatly appreciated and my apologies to the mods for a second post in two days. Thanks for your time.

I will be surprised if such a doctor exists. If they are having success treating lyme, there is a wait to see them. That's always been my experience.

Also, I hope you realize that you are going to pay the huge first appointment fee for a doctor you are only planning on seeing a month or 2.

Then, you will pay it again when you go to your doc who is one of the best.

And, the doctors I know are all "open to IV" but they are the ones who will decide if YOU need it or not. The docs I recommend do not put most patients on IV.

Also, if you are seeing Dr. J. in 3 months, from what his patients tell me, you will get no treatment at the first appointment, just sent for tests. So, you better factor that in if you get yourself on IV with another doctor prior to seeing him.

I and my friends all got rid of lyme and company on oral medications only. I went at least 10 years with undiagnosed lyme, babs, and bart. It has now been 6 years since I completed my treatment and I am still symptom free, enjoying my life.

If you want the name of a doc who isn't very good but will usually give you an appointment in a week and takes some insurance, send me a private message.
