Would like to find a dr in PA who can diagnose and treat Lyme disease. The closer to York the better. In March of 06 I was bitten by a deer tick. My dr put me on 2 weeks of antibiotics. At the end of that treatment within a few days I found another deer tick at the same place. The dr did not do another round of treatment. In July I fell straight down hitting the side of my face and shoulder on the ground. I did not trip and have no idea what caused me to fall. From then on the pain I have been experiencing has been getting progressively worse. By May of 07 I was advised by my chiropractor and GP to quit working. I had a Lyme test done shortly after the second tick bite which came back neg. I kept pushing and my GP sent me to a "specialist" who refused to do any of her own tests. I felt my hands were tied. In October I started seeing a neurologist. She ran some tests but not for Lyme. We did not get along so I started seeing another dr in the same practice. He told me that the previous dr had diagnosed me with fibromyalgia although she told me it was just osteoarthritis. I have had osteoarthritis most of my life so I knew this was something else. I am now soon turning 54. My present dr said he would have me back at work but that has not happened. With nearly 5 years of not being able to do hardly anything I need to find out positively if this is Lyme or not.

The fibromyalgia I've had for 32 years was an undiagnosed Lyme symptom.

"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". -Jeremiah 29:11
