Hello, I am looking for a Neurologist and actually a Psychiatrist in Maryland, preferrably Carroll, Howard or Baltimore County of Baltimore City. My husband has Lymes Disease and needs to see a Neurologist and I want someone who is familiar with Lymes Disease symptoms and stages. It has also been recommended he see a Psychiatrist also, there too, I would like someone who knows the effects of Lymes on your brain. It has been an uphill battle trying to find someone. It would be nice to have a specialist in Neurology/Psychiatry combined. I am willing to travel. We live in Carroll County, Maryland. Thank you for your help!

If you found a neurologist and a psychiatrist who actually knows lyme, then I think we'd all want to know.
Go to seeking a doctor and post for an lyme literate medical doctor (LLMD). This is the only way to get over lyme and its co-infections if that's what he has.

If there is such a doctor in Maryland, I would like to know who it is.
In 9 years, I have never found either a neurologist or a psychiatrist in this state who knows lyme disease.
