I'm from upstate NY but my cousin lives in North Carolina with her 4-year-old daughter. Her daughter has been getting regular (weekly) fevers and is regularly ill. My cousin mentioned that she has regularly pulled ticks off of her daughter during the summertime. I think her daughter has Lyme or another tick-borne illness. If anyone knows of any LLMD's in NC--especially any Lyme-literate pediatricians--please let me know asap!
