For years I have been told I probably have fibromyalgia because of symptoms of extreme fatigue and joint pain and muscle aches. My Lyme tests have always been negative. Several weeks ago my right hand got "pins and needles" which several days later spread to my arm and face. I was admitted to hospital thinking it could be a stroke. They did MRI's which were negative. I now have the pins and needles all over my face and body. My knees are going numb. Lyme tests were again negative. I live in Garden City, NY and have a summer home on the east end of Long Island which is a hotbed of Lyme Disease. I am having a hard time finding a Lyme literate doctor. Can anyone recommend one?
