Hello, I am looking for an LLMD in the Oswego NY area. Oswego is a smaller town though. I would also be able to get to Syracuse, which of course is a bigger city. But I live in oswego and do not drive, so I would not easily be able to get anywhere much farther than Syracuse. Oswego, Syracuse, Fulton or Mexico NY. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Also, I had a question. Why exactly is it difficult to find Lyme disease doctors? I am new to this and I am confused as to why everything is so hush-hush.

I live in Fulton. you will have NO luck finding a doc in syracuse or anywhere near us! sorry have you seen the documentary "Under our skin" yet? It explains the political aspect of the disease and why it is not recognized by the regular Infectious Disease Docs and why most primary docs don'thave a clue!! If you have Netflix it is on netflix, otherwise, I'll let you borrow it. I was diagnosed in March , on 3 weeks of Doxy and that's not enough unless you treated like within 2 weeks of your tick bite. when did you get DX? did you get doxy? what does your regular dr. say? please stay in touch. I have support group info, but it's in syracuse. all LLMD's are in NJ, NYC, Long Island, PA, etc. How are you feeling? my name is Carissa.
