My wife was bitten by a tick around 9 years ago. they gave her antibiotics for a couple weeks but then 7 month later she was diagnosed with schizophrenia. since then she has been hospitalized a numerous time where even now at this very moment she is hospitalized. I want to help her and I just realized now that lyme never goes away and it has to be treated constanly it also has been misdiagnosed as schizophrenia, bipolar, and tons of other disease. I have read that those misdiagnoses are just symptoms of this disease. I thought she had schizophrenia but now I am have started to suspect that is her lyme disease causing that. I am looking for a doctor on this topic one of those good doctors not those that base their licenses on the lyme guidelines which have sold their soul to the pharma industries, but one that really cares and want to treat patient for their good not for benefit.

Guys if you read this link where they have written an article and books about the link of lyme-mental-ilness connection. which it confirm that lyme causes and can be misdiagnosed with an metal illness. who can help me to find a good doctor here in NEW YORK where will find a good treatment for the CAUSE which is lyme disease and not treat the symptoms of it like mental-illness and any of the other tons of misdiagnosis out there for lyme disease.

she has had this already for 9 years Who can help here.

What would be the best thing to do at this stage?

THanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
