My apologies for posting under a previous thread as I hadn't read the tips for new members. Below is the edited information as originally posted there:
I am so relieved to find this board. I'd really appreciate the information for Northern NJ, Orange County, NY and even NE PA for both a pediatric and an adult LLMD.
I was originally diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2009 after several incorrect diagnoses. I was seen by an infectious disease specialist whom I trusted and am now finding out I have chronic lymes via my new primary care who has started me on antibiotics, however after doing more research see I will really need an LLMD to help me due to my long list of symptoms.
I also fear my daughter may have lymes and may have contracted it congenitally. I am beside myself tonight after receiving the phone call earlier and really just need answers.
My symptoms include but are not limited to: chronic fatigue, numbness in hands and feet, cloudy vision, dizziness, fevers, weight gain, and brain fog. My initial symptom was a rash which was treated misdiagnosed as cellulitis.
My daughters symptoms include: developmental delays, IBS and vomiting.

Thank You. I did receive it, but those Doctors are really far from my area. I've contacted my local support group as well and hope a few others will have a few closer options. Thanks again.

Sorry for replying to your post, but I am new to the site and can not figure out how to post a new discussion. I am also from the NEPA area and am looking for a specialist for my 3 yr old son who was diagnosed with Lyme's Disease last month. He was on antibiotics for 21 days and 10 days later had a 104+ fever that lasted 4 days, he complained of aches and pains in his neck and back, but had no other symptoms to suggest that he was sick. We took him to an Infectious Disease specialist in Danville, PA (3 hrs away) who was of no help to us. If you, or anyone else can be of some help referring us to a lyme literate Dr I'd greatly appreciate the help! Thank you
