I posted yesterday looking for a lyme MD in Maryland. I have gotten several replys, but was advised to put my daughters age. My daughter is 19. I appreciate all of the information that I have received and look forward to more information.

Hello,

While this site sends their list of doctors that they recommend for Maryland when you are deciding on a doctor make sure to research them extensively and read reviews. I have been through three Lyme Literate doctors all were recommended by advocacy groups. Make sure to look them up in the Maryland Medical License verification system and read their reviews. If they do not take insurance ask if you will hear the treatment plan on your first visit or if you will have to come back a few days after your first appointment to get medication and pay an additional office fee. These things can help you to find someone decent. Question all labs they order that will not bill your insurance.
