I'm looking for a good doctor in Central MA. I live in Uxbridge, MA and have had Lymes since 2006. I have been treated orally for 6 weeks and IV for 4 weeks when I lived in WV. I need a knee surgery but the doctor will not do it because my test for lymes came back positive today.

Do you always test positive for lymes even after you have been treated? I still have symptoms though.
