Hi. I'm seeking a lyme lit MD for my senior mom, who lives in vicinity of Little Neck in Queens; and Great Neck, Manhasset, NSLIJ in Nassau County. Unfortunately, she cannot travel far. Bitten with infected tick 8 years ago and treated then with oral AB for 3 weeks. Since then, ongoing mystery illness with symptoms of extreme fatigue; on and off difficulty walking w/o walker; cognitive impairment; frequent urination; anxiety; depression; panic; discomfort keeping eyelid open; on and off ambiguous diagnosis of UTI. Do you know of anyone -- ideally an internist who is also lyme literate.
