Chief complaints:

-Impaired concentration and memory / brain fog

Existing DX:
-One cervical herniated disc
-One thoracic herniated disc
-Disc degeneration overall

-Syringomyelia (syrinx / cavity in the spinal cord, degenerative)
-Impaired sleep / borderline narcolepsy
-Weird skin issues (like folliculitis, not infectious)

IgM P23 Ab positive on LabCorp western blot

Any help is appreciated!

I am a new user in KY with very similar symptoms to Izod, although I have not been diagnosed. Suffered about 20+ deer tick and/or nymph bites from the waist to my toes on Memorial Day weekend 2011. Symptoms began to appear in late July and have intensified in the last 30 days. My MD did the ELISA test only with a negative result...he does not seem open to doing much more, although he did schedule an MRI for me for 10/21. I'm also a 30 year backpacker and have experienced dozens of tick bites over that time. My 5 year Physcial Therapist was the first to suggest Lyme as a possibility last month when I did not respond to treatment. I'm looking for a new doctor as close as possible. I am about 90 miles from Cincinnati and 120 from Indianapolis. Thanks in advance for your help!

It's best to begin your own thread so others will see this. See the first thread in Seeking. It tells you how to post.

I'm sending info for you!
