I am not sure I am posting this in the right place. I hope so.

I just received info on a clinic in the St. Petersburg, Florida area that tests for and treats Lyme.

They know enough about it to bypass Elisa and go straight to the Western Blot and to test for CD57.

That is all I know, since the person who gave me the info has not started tx yet. They did tell her they want to build her immune system before starting ABX, which I feel is a red flag.

Still, I figure any place that knows about the CD57 test is better than 99% of docs in this area, and maybe could be worked with.

My parents life in that area.

Is this clinic taking in new patients?

Will that take out of state patients?

I can't even get the testing done here!

I live in that area and am trying to find a dr. to help diagnose me. My rheumatologist just says it is RA, although I know something else is going on. My p23 band came up positive

We have a Facebook Sunshine State Florida Lyme support group. Someone from the group may know of the clinic. We have doctor information and support.

If you would like to join, send me a PM.

I can't answer questions, because I posted all I know and I could not convince this person to come to Lymenet to get help or to post this info.
I won't put the docs or ARNP names here, and I accidentally deleted them anyway! The clinic is Millenium Medical in St. Pete. That is all I remember, sorry.

Elaine,
I did not get your PM, but unfortunately, as I mention above, all I have is the clinic name, posted above. They all treat Lyme there. The woman who told me about it saw a female ARNP, who ran the CD57. Millenium Medical should be in the St. Pete phone book.
