Hello all, my wife is diagnosed with MS 8 years back while she was at Yale(Connecticut). And the symptoms are getting worse.
It all started in 2003 with Optic Neuritis which resolved in 2-3 weeks(I think we are not married then). Now she is getting worse day by day. She can still walk short distances but having problems with balance and is very tired all the time.
Recently we watched the movie, "under our skin" and thought maybe there is some connection with Lymes. We did the western blot test and it says that she has 39 & 41 bands present but the test is negative since it needs more bands to be present to call the test positive.
So we are looking for doctors who are very aware close to our home (Hillsboro, OR) in Oregon, Washington, California & Idaho.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

- Sadly, there are no Lyme Literate MDs in Oregon. Lyme is aggressively discounted by the Oregon medical board. It's a very hostile state for anyone with lyme or other tick-borne infections.
Most patients have to travel up to the Seattle area or down to California.
However, there are a couple ILADS-educated LL NDs (naturopathic doctors) in the Portland area.
--------- I sent some LL NDs contacts by PM so be sure to log in to check your mail. -
