Suffered about 20+ deer tick and/or nymph bites from the waist to my toes on Memorial Day weekend 2011.
Symptoms began to appear (or I began to pay attention to them) in late July and have intensified in the last 30 days.
My MD did the ELISA test only with a negative result. He does not seem open to doing much more, although he did schedule an MRI for me for 10/21.
I'm also a 30 year backpacker and have experienced dozens of tick bites over that time.
My 5 year Physcial Therapist was the first to suggest Lyme as a possibility last month when I did not respond to treatment.
I'm looking for a new doctor as close as possible. I am about 90 miles from Cincinnati and 120 from Indianapolis. Thanks in advance for your help!
