- Yes, they will Google. And they will click onto your profile for all clues there.
If even a last name and the city, state are there, it's easy for security problems. Even a last name can do it if there is also a post seeking a doctor in a certain place.
An unusual first or middle name can also risk security.
Everyone's posting history is easy to see here by just clicking onto their screen name.
Insurance companies employ people who find all kinds of ways to red-flag customers. They can connect the dots and surely check out social networking sites.
One woman lost her disability benefits for posting a photo of her smiling with friends, beer in hand, on a vacation.
So much can be misinterpreted, so be careful. -
