I am looking for a FL doctor. I live in the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area.

I am not even sure if it is Lyme Disease that I have, but some of it seems to fit.

I do go hunting, obviously in the woods, enter tick here. I started having severe hip pain in late August in one hip, then a couple weeks later the other one started. Both hurt equally as bad and while doing mirroring movements.

I went to an Orthopedic who passed me off to a Rheumatologist. Blood work, the X-rays and MRI comes back clean for RA and Seronegative Spondyloarthritis, but I have had severe pain now for 6 months.. The Dr. thinks it is Fibromyalgia. While I am not diagreeing with his diagnosis in that it fits with a lot of my other problems (migraines, sleep disorder, fatigue) I have to wonder, could it be LD? I think I would like to see a specialist in this area to confirm or rule it out.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Dawn

From what I've read, Fibromyalgia is not an "It's all in your head" disease, but rather a bacterial or viral infection.
