I was bitten in the base of my skull when I was 9. Lyme was discovered when I went totally crazy at 16. I received a few weeks of abx & the Dr moved & dropped my parents insurance. I have always pushed the Lyme thought out of my head because I was told I was "cured" I was a kid. I am now 30 with a school age child. I am now ready to face my symptoms, but I am terrified. Does anyone know of a Dr in Northern CA? Thank you all so much, reading your stories has brought me out of denile
