Just recently my son's been diagnosed as having Lyme Disease. Trying to locate a LLMD. This whole process is very frustrating so any help would be most appreciated.

Sorry for the delay in responding. My son is almost 25yrs old. His symptoms are psychosis, otherwise I guess he would be doing this himself. We've been struggling with this for a while now but it's only been recently that it is most likely Lyme disease.

Read www.thehumansideoflyme.net

Dr. S is a Lyme-literate psychiatrist in PA who has had firsthand experience with Lyme.

Click on "E-mail me" in the upper right-hand corner of her webpage to ask for help or if she can refer you to someone.

I don't know of any Lyme doctors in Michigan, but you might want to click on "Support Groups" in the upper left-hand corner of the Lymenet page, then "MI". Contact information will come up. Maybe they can help you.

My 20 yr. old son and I went to see Dr. S in PA. She was intramental in getting our Mich. LLDR to prescribe IV for my son. Have you found a Mich. LLDR yet?

RAS - I see you are from Rochester area. We are near Rochester. Have been dealing with this for over a yr. and a half with my son. Mostly neuro.

Would love to know if you have gotten any recommendations on drs. Thanks
