Hi, I need to find a Doctor in South Florida (I live in Palm Beach County). My sister has very advanced Lyme disease, has not been able to walk for 5 months. She went to the physician in Tampa but her ins. didn't cover and the nurse staff was very mean to hear even after paying out of pocket. I need to find someone knowledgable in very severy cases in the southeastern florida coast. She is too sick to travel.Any help is really appreciated!!

That is sad. There are VERY few LLMDs who take insurance.

Not many doctors do take insurance in Florida. You probably saw the only one who takes insurance.

Did you ever find the right doctor, I live in Palm Beach too and I think I have Lyme disease but I cant find a doctor who teats it??
