Hi, I'm a 30 y/o female living in southern/central Connecticut. I would like multiple names of Lyme doctors, especially if they take insurance.
I realize that most do not but as my finances are extremely limited I would hope that there would be at least one that takes them.
I have just finished my first three week treatment but my symptoms are still prevalent. I did not realize until recently that I need more assistance than what my doctor is providing.
Thank you for your help.
Best, Erin

I am currently being treated for Lyme...for 6 months now on doxycycline. I am getting worst and being told that this is what happens..sticking it out, but its hard. I wont give up though. I have also posted for a list of doctor referrals, I want a second opinion. Hopefully we will get some info. If I receive anything I will forward that info to you. I am from the Hartford area.
Good luck to you and sorry you have Lyme, but keep a positive attitude.
Fondly,
Andrea

If you get any recommendation for LLDRs in your area could you please let me know. I am in Michigan and we have one LLDR. I've heard there are excellent LLDRs in Ct.
My 20 yr. old son has been battling Lyme for over a year. He got much better after IV Rocephrin but now is relasping and his dr. doesn't want to restart his IV.
Would you please send any names you get my way. Thank-you
