I recently came back from Northern California. While there I hiked at Point Reyes National Seashore on a trail with herds of wild elk.
In late February I was hit by extreme fatigue and a "veil" descended over my head. I feel like I am swimming under water. Head "pressure"or headaches are constant. I had a blood panel and an ekg - all normal.
Two weeks later I had the flu with chills and strong fevers. This ended with pneumonia. I have recovered from that but am left with the extreme fatigue and head issues that began in mid-Feb.
I believe that I need to be tested for Lyme but don't know where to begin. Am willing to travel to Boston or other location if necessary.
Age 65. Formerly healthy and in excellent mental health, now quite depressed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
