I'm looking for an LLMD or nurse practitioner or a Lyme sympathetic MD or CNP for my daughter who lives on MDI. She is being treated for lyme by an LLMD in MA but needs a local physician to deal with other issues like GYN etc. We're looking for someone that will understand the lyme issues, not try to change or question the unusual combination of medications she is taking and work within those perameters.

there was a recent article in the bethel citizen about 2 new docs farther north-maybe google it-they were starting a lyme group

also there is a yahoo group for maine-the person who runs it is very experienced
