Can anyone provide advice on how to get an appointment with a LLMD without the wait....there is at least a two month wait with alot of them. My symptoms are getting worse, particularly my vision and I'm getting really, really scared.

All you can do is book the apointment and get on a wait list for a cancellation. There are too few good LLMDs to go around.
You may want to consider doing some herbal treatment until the appointment, Or get Doxy from India or try a pet store.

I would call every day for cancellations. People have gotten in sooner by doing this.

You can also contact the lyme support groups in your state (see Support Groups on left side of page) and ask for names of "lyme friendly" doctors.
These doctors will give long-term antibiotics to lyme patients. They don't know as much as a lyme doctor, they have a normal medical practice (don't specialize in lyme), they take insurance, and they just have normal waits. Such doctors can be a "fill in" for the time you are waiting to see the lyme doctor.

If you have a recent tick bite, go to your family Dr or a walk in clinic to get immediate help. Otherwise, there is always a long wait for a GOOD doctor.
