Sadly, there are no LLMDs in Oregon. However, there are some LL NDs (naturopathic doctors) who are ILADS educated, an essential distinction explained below..

Be sure to connect with a support group BEFORE arranging any appointment. As you may have found out by now, some doctors who say they know about and treat lyme simply do not on either count. It's a very rough state in which to have lyme.

The politics of lyme in Oregon is discussed here, so that you have a better picture of what all is going on. Wish it were better but others can help guide you.

Good luck.

Also gives background regarding lack of lyme assessment / treatment in general, regardless of one's insurance coverage.

Oregon SUPPORT GROUPS listed at BOTTOM OF PAGE

From your part of the state, most with lyme would travel to California.

Just zipper in the state name where you seek a LL doctor. To join for discussion, best to join in your own state.

(What ILADS is) . . . WHY you need an ILADS-educated, Lyme Literate Doctor - starting with assessment / evaluation.

Click on "Support Groups" in the upper left-hand corner of the Lymenet page, then the states you are looking for. Contact information will come up. Maybe they can help you.
