I am new at this site. I got Lyme Disease 6 years ago and while on the anti-biotics I got pregnant. On my second round of treatment I was given a pregnancy friendly anti-biotic and was told that I was "cured", but that I still had lyme in me. I then started hurting with aches and pains during my pregnancy. All the time being told it was normal. Gave birth and felt very achy in my joints and was told that after birth you are loose and it will all tighten up. I felt a little better, but still hurt in the joints. Then I got pregnant with my second child. Felt worse. After birth, I had tingling, couldn't move my arms, my shoulders and wrists hurt very badly. After 6 months of feeling really bad and seeing a couple of doctors that were treating rheumatoid issues, I was diagnosed with FM. 3 years later, my pains, episodes are getting worse and longer. I have migraine headaches daily, neck/shoulder pressures, and pains in the joints from head to toe.

I was just recently made aware of LLMDs and I'm hopeful that they can help me!! Does anyone know of the best know doctor in the Westchester/Hudson Valley NY area. I'll travel to NYC, CT, NJ, PA. Please help!!!! [confused]

Thanks,

Sandra

PM sent for CT.

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.
