I live in Austin, Tx and am looking for a doctor who would be a specialist in Lyme disease. They do not have to be in Austin, but could be in San Antonio, Houston or Dallas or anywhere in Texas. I am new to learning about Lyme disease, but am looking for answers to my ongoing constant headaches, joint and muscular pain, dizziness, chest pain, stomach problems, and many other curious symptoms I have been having over the years, which have hugely increased over the past year. I never remember having a rash or anything, but do know I was bitten by a tick sometime in high school (I am now 30 years old). Although I understand that mosquitoes can also spread Lyme. Does anyone know where I should go in Texas to get a doctor who will be knowledgeable and can help me get tested correctly?? Thanks!

up

Please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who have neurological problems from Lyme and cannot read large blocks of text. Thanks.

There really aren't any good LLMD's in TX... I would
look in the green area to the left and click on Support Groups for TX.

Welcome!! [Smile]
