I have been to doctors in the past for chronic ailments I've suffered from, most notably extreme chronic fatigue, and based on extensive workups, some are convinced I have some tick-borne illnesses, including chronic lyme disease. However, I never had the bullseye rash, etc. So I always put it on the backburner. Until now. For some reason mosquitos have always feasted on me and this summer is particularly bad. Yesterday I was out pulling weeds and got 3 new bites. Today, one of them started to grow in size (i'm trying to avoid itching it, so it's not from over-itching). Tonight it looks like a bullseye and is red and the entire area is raised and inflammed. Also itchy. And warm to the touch. Last night I had a headache and hardly slept...about 2 hours total, off and on. My body was also very achy last night and today. I feel pretty spacey and confused but I'm not sure if that's from lack of sleep from last night and sleep deprivation from having a little baby. ALSO, I have a 9 month old baby whom I am breastfeeding! I fed her breast milk last night and also this morning....once I found the change in the bite tonight I held off on feeding her breastmilk, but I fear it's too late! If I'm infected with lyme, she is too! Right?! I can't sleep thinking about how she may be affected, especially if I am! Help us please! We are in Denver, Colorado! Thank you in advance for your help and advice!!!

Oh and more symptoms from last night--I had a professional massage so I assumed it was from this, but afterwards I started shivering, and my lips quivered like I was cold, however I wasn't. I have been sweating excessively today too. Yes it is very hot out and my hormones are whacky too, so it's hard to know if it's just due to that or not. My neck also hurts, as does my entire body.
