I am seeking a specialist to diagnose and possibly treat Lyme's disease in Chico. Can you give me a list of doctors in the area and maybe offer me your opinions on which doctors are the best.

Thanks for your help.

J

I'll send you an e-mail, but somebody who knows the Chico docs personally may do so as well.

Hey J.

I'm in Chico and will e-mail you later this evening if yo will post an address. You might be in luck because Chico, although not a large city, is kind of a hotbed of Lyme treatment. I've had a very good experience with Dr. V. up in Paradise and it takes a special person to put up with me.

David

Hi J

There is a highly recommended doctor I heard of from several sources. I believe he's in Sacramento. If you are interested please email me and I can get his number for you. He's too far for me because I'm in Southern Cal, but would be perfect for you. My email [email protected]

I used to live near Chico and saw Dr. Kurt Johnson, with Mangrove Medical Group. He diagnosed my disease, gave me IV antibiotics for a year and has continued to oversee my case. I moved out of state 2 years ago because of ticks attraction to me. 3x infected, 1976-2002 and 7 bits in the last 3 years, while BEING aware.
Dr. Johnson is very quiet, I felt at times he felt frustrated in his inability to cure patients, especially long term cases like me.
God bless you.

Shar, please don't use doctor's names on the board. We only use initials, as some doctors prefer not to be advertised as Lyme specialists.
