Hello everyone,

In the past month, I have been suddenly plagued with blurriness and eye problems.

My opthamologist seems to feel that everything is ok, and has recommended .75 readers for my job using the computer.

However, nothing has changed at all.

I would feel much better to have a Lyme Literate eye doctor examine me.

Thanks for any possible referrals.

Lyme disease can affect the eyes, as the bacteria like connective tissue. Are you being treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD)?

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Pennsylvanialyme

Maybe they can help you.

I went through the same thing, passed all the neuro-opthalmology tests.

Then my chiropractor suggested I try drinking mangosteen juice, and it worked immediately - cleared up all eye symptoms in 24 hours!

It's an anti-inflam juice found in healthfood stores and online. If you try it, go slowly, as it can be powerful. We're all different in how any treatment will affect us.

Do you also have any issues with balance? Other inner/middle ear issues? If so, the ears could be causing vision disturbances.

Happens a lot with lyme.

Robin123's suggestion for mangosteen is excellent. The very best antioxidants can make a world of difference.

This holistic doctor's site and his book are also excellent - he is located near you, in Wilmington, DE. Not sure how LL he is but you might inquire after reviewing his work.

Check the side effect for ALL Rx you may be taking. Many Rx cause blurry vision.
