I am a 20yo male who has been going through debilitating symptoms for at least the past 1-2 years, including extreme mental fatigue, brain fog, hormonal dysfunction and heart issues. I was only just diagnosed with Lyme after getting Igenex testing done. My PCP started me on 4 weeks of doxycycline, but I would like to see an LLMD as soon as I can.

I want to find an LLMD who can aggressively treat my Lyme and hopefully fix my symptoms as soon as possible. I need someone who successfully treats cases of CNS Lyme.

I live on Long Island, but I want to see the best LLMD possible, as this condition has basically destroyed my life, and someone who can cure me would be worth any amount of travel. I am currently on medical withdrawal from college, and if I can find out who the best LLMD in NY and the surrounding areas is, I will drive there if there is an early enough available appointment.

Thank you very much for all recommendations and insight.

It's amazing there is a controversy to this insidious disease and I've found it easiest to show a couple of u tube video's on the controversy.

If you watch this video you can see some of the miss diagnosis.

This is our Lyme doctor. It took us 8+ months, 9 MD's, 2 Children's Hospital's before we started to learn about the controversy and find him.

He is a saint and I show this to help illustrate how MD's have been prosecuted so normal MD's shy away from doing anything but following the flawed IDSA guidelines.
