Newly diagnosed. Believe I caught it about 8 weeks ago camping in the mountains above Palm Springs. Prescribed 100mg doxy 2x/day 30 days until I can see an infectious disease specialist at end of October. Had signs of lyme meningitis and CNS involvement, so I want to treat aggressively while I can. Please help me.

suspected lyme infection from camping trip early August. Confirmed positive tests late September. On doxy until I can see a specialist.

Aloha! I lived in Manhattan Beach for a long time and love that area! Don't live there anymore though.

If you find a great llmd in Los Angeles can you give me a pm? My dad needs one but goes to Kaiser and they have misdiagnosed him for years.

Sorry to hear that you have lyme. Man it's a horrible disease - I hope you can kick it early before it becomes chronic like many of us here.
