Hi everyone....

Just got my igenex tests back and is not looking good. My GP ran the test but wont treat.

I need to find an LLMD ASAP. I am close to atlanta ga.....can u recommend a few in the area?

Ild like as many names as possible to see which one can see me first.

I suspectthat the wait time is long [Frown]

Anything I can do in the meantime to get better?

Or to not get worse?

My sx are dizziness, horrible back and neck pain and malaise.

Thanks for everything.

Post here for info on what you can do in the meantime:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/forum/1?

I'll send you info for North Carolina. Not many drs anywhere near you. NONE in GA.

Thanks again so much.

NC is looking like the best option, like you said. I am SHOCKED at the lack of doctors llmd. Thanks for the warning on that other Dr.

Do you reccomend a specific one in NC? Or any on the list would work?

This is all very new to me. I get my igenex tests results tomorrow, but dr called friday and said to come in Monday because they were abnormal, and my TGF beta has elevated. I juust found out I am pregnant too....so I am DESPERATE right now.

I do hope Lyme is curable??

Thanks again sooo much

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Georgialyme

Maybe they can help you.

The Georgia Lyme Association's website is at:
www.georgialymedisease.org

These Lyme organizations give doctor referrals:
www.ilads.org
www.lymediseaseassociation.org

Once you get some names, write a new post in "Seeking a Doctor" to ask about personal references. This way you will find the right doctor to give you the correct treatment.

Sent a private message to you. Including some docs in Fla. Go to "my profile" at the top of the page to access your private messages.

I know that Florida has a very active Lyme community ... I think it is called something like "Sunshine State Lyme." You might try to google it.

Good luck to you and the baby!
