I am located in Indian Rocks Beach Florida. Had rotator cuff surgery in October and began feeling poorly about a month later. I tested positive with 1.37 on blood panel ordered by my Ortho Surgeon and he put me on Doxyclycline. Went to my PCP who ordered Western Blot and I tested negative with only 2 points on Western Blot so my PCP says I am negative, althought he agrees there is much controversy about Lyme. I called a Dr. C in Tampa - was put on hold forever and while on hold I read terrible reviews so I hung up. I can only hope he is not the only LLDr in my area. If at all possible, please provide physician in pinellas county. Thank you. JHR

Dr. C. has quite a reputation. Remember there are people he has helped. Some have posted but some have not.
Can you travel? Further in state? Out of state?
Many in your area travel quite a distance for treatment. My sister in St. Pete now flies to Cleveland to see her ILADS doctor.

The pickins are slim in Florida. Dr. C. is the best lyme doctor in your state.
You need to read and study the Burrascano Lyme Treatment Guidelines to get your education on this disease. They are here:
Notice that on page 16 Dr. C. is credited with coming up with the best IV treatment for lyme patients. That says a lot.
His staff is rude, so just be prepared to put up with that. Best chance of getting your health back is him, in my opinion. The doc is the key to getting rid of this disease. Can't emphasize that enough. It's because there is no ABC treatment formula for treating this very complex disease. Each case is different. So, you need the very best doctor you can afford.
If you want to fly to D.C. to see a top notch doctor who will do telephone appointments after the first in-person appointment, let me know and I will send you the name. But, if it were me, I would try to get in with Dr. C. Count yourself fortunate if he becomes your doctor.

I can travel in FL; also have family in DC area (Fairfax) and in upstate NY (Plattsburgh) and VT (Burlington). I am willing to go anywhere I can be sure to get the best treatment.
