I've had Lyme since 1998 and need to switch doctors. Could you PM me with the best LLMD you've ever been to. It would help me alot. Thanks.

Dr. K out in Seattle. Was too difficult for me to continue because I'm from the East Coast. But Cali would make it much more doable.
IMO he is the best doc we've got in helping to fight this monster.
Best to you.

The answer to this question depends on many factors. First would be if you are seeking IV treatment -- not all docs do that. Also insurance status or finances makes a big difference.
And then there is the question of whether or not you want to use meds only or want a more integrated approach with herbs and supplements.
Some docs are much more willing to let the patient make suggestions than others -- do you want a doc who simply tells you what to do or do you want to be more involved?
And then there is a big question of whether you would actually see the doc in question or whether you would only see their P.A.
Even today some supposed llmd's only treat based on positive tests -- that is a very important question as well. Or some docs use only certain labs.
In my opinion I would be looking for a doc who maybe takes a different approach than the one you are currently seeing.
The question you have asked has been asked before -- but everyone is different and actually depending on where you are in your treatment can make a big difference in which doc would be best for you.
Good luck.
