Boys need a LLMD near Austin, Texas. They are ages 6 and 13. One has severe psychiatric issues and cannot function (i.e. cannot attend school, no friends), the other has tics. Thank you.

There's only one LLMD in TX and he doesn't treat children. You will have to travel.

Consider Missouri or CT .. Dr J is in CT.

~~SUPPORT GROUPS~~

Austin Lyme Support Group
DFW Lyme Disease Support Group (Formerly known as: Metroplex Lyme Support Group)
Houston Lyme Disease Support Group
San Antonio Lyme Disease Support Group

Another contact for finding a LLMD is the Texas LD Assoc: http://www.txlda.org/

Join your online state support group at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/texaslyme
Contact the Support Groups above to inquire about Drs. These groups have a lot of knowledge and experience with Drs. in your area.

You could also try Facebook for info on the support groups. They may know of someone in the Austin area who could help, but I doubt it.
