It's me again. I am posting for a friend. Her 11 yr old son was diagnosed at Children's Hospital in DC with lyme. He was given a month of abx. He started to feel better. But then he got worse. He is having trouble walking. The drs are telling them it is all psychological. My old LLMD in Reston doesn't treat children. I am asking him for a recommendation.
Do you know anyone in DC area who treats children? My heart just aches for them.
I told her about the kid dr in New England. Of course, that is far to go.
Please PM me.
Thanks, Kathy

The "It's all in your head" so-called 'diagnosis' is a common one that non Lyme-literate doctors come up with when they can't explain what's wrong!

Just saying hello, my 12 year old could barely walk this time last year.
He's doing really well now, not 100% but walking, running.
Sending healing thoughts and prayers that the best treatment options come for him quickly.
