I live in Cumberland, MD (in the western panhandle). Looking to meeting with a LLMD.

I am 29, male, 185lbs, and with athletic muscular build.

I tested positive for Lymes disease about 2 weeks ago at a local health clinic. I demanded to be tested after I had several days of pain and stiffness in BOTH knees. This is the only major symptom I have. There is some fatigue as well.

They health clinic is treating me with 28 days of amoxicillin. I am 16 days into treatment and I have some good days and some bad days with knee pain.

A doctor in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia is acceptable. They are all very close to me.

YIKES!! Be sure to get a refill on that or ask for doxycycline next time. The usual treatment is 200mg twice a day of doxy. (though most regular Drs will only prescribe 100 twice a day)

I worry that the amoxy will not completely cover you.

It takes quite awhile to get in to see an LLMD, so you will have to get creative until then. It is imperative that you get more medication to cover you until all symptoms are gone for 2 months.

You do NOT want this to go chronic.

Sending info on Drs
