My sweetheart seems to have had Lyme for years-at least 3 and probably more. He took 3 weeks of doxy, got rid of his headache and much of his back pain. Herxed at the end. Now his prescription is over and our naturopath didn't think he needed more. Has a different kind of back pain, still very tired, not himself, and definitely grumpier than he was on the doxy, which means he's in pain. He's a roofer/carpenter, very rugged, 57 years old.
He may have gotten the tick in Vermont, NJ, or Wisconsin.
We live in Central Vermont and are looking for a Lyme Literate med professional-doesn'thave to be an MD. Southern Vermont and eastern NY state are both possibilities.
