Does anyone know of any LLMD who can treat lyme from Europe? My 9 yr old just tested positive, and we are on a 6 month wait list for Dr. C in MO, but need something much sooner.

Can You come to the states once a year? Most docs need at least a yearly in person appointment.

I live in Texas, but my son was bit in Norway.
I am willing to travel anywere to find a good LLMD. I just need to find a DR quickly as the bite was from this past July.

The top LLMDs would be the ones to see, but, unfortunately, they have long wait times. Calling every day to ask for cancellations is another idea.

Two days ago a person called Dr. H's office in NY and was offered an Aug. 28 appointment which they declined, so they got an early Sept date.
He is the top doc in the country and he treats children age 8 and up. So, if I were you, I would call there right away.
He has traveled overseas a good bit and knows about the various strains of lyme and coinfections, such as what they have in Japan and China. So, you would be in good hands.
Let me know if you need more info on him.
