No LLMD in Oregon. Oregon Medical Board is very much against lyme.

However, if for someone with a brand new bite (gotten out of state since Oregon doctors have the mantra "no lyme in Oregon" and they have the bullseye rash, there may be a doctor who could offer a very short treatment, but not a protocol - but many have even been turned away for a brand new case, even with the classic rash. It's luck of the draw.

For a chronic case, no MD in Oregon will know what to do or be allowed to treat.

There are a few ILADS educated LL ND (naturopathic doctors) in Oregon, some in the Portland area. They are very good and NDs can prescribe various Rx, along with support measures.

Also gives background regarding lack of lyme assessment / treatment in general, regardless of one’s insurance coverage.

For a LLMD, (unless they see a LL ND), Oregon residents go up to Washington state (and there is a LLMD just across the river) -- or head south to California.

Just zipper in the state name where you seek a LL doctor. To join for discussion, best to join in your own state.

Just sent you contact for: a couple ILADS-educated LL NDs in Portland area; the LLMD just across the river; and a ND who specializes in Rife, east of PDX.
