If I have a name of a doctor and I want to post to see if anyone has had any experience with this doctor, how do I go about this?
Thanks [Smile]

You can give the first letter of the doctor's last name plus the state he/she is in.

So, for example, your post and title of post could be: Seeking info on Dr. S in New York.

You can't be any more specific than that. No city, no first initial, etc.

Something else you could do - ask to be added to your state Lyme chat group and ask there - might still be the same rule about not listing doctor names though - http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/newjerseylyme

Yes, do what TF & Robin123 recommend.

I'm repeating this information, but check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/newjerseylyme

Maybe they can help you.

Another resource for you:

Can I put this doctors name out there even I'm not sure if he's a LLMD?

If you're not sure, you could check with www.ILADS.org, or ask your state group.

I don't know of such a lyme doctor. But, I don't claim to know every one in NJ.

That's my point...I don't think he's a LLMD! That's why I wanted to give his name. To see if anyone had more info on him before I made an appointment...

Send me his name by private message and I will search all of my private messages to see if anyone has ever mentioned him to me.
