It seems that he has reduced the size of his staff and now, nothing is being done.
They are overwhelmed. I had a phone consult with him and needed a Prior Authorization sent into my INS. company to have the medicine approved.
Based on the past 2 months, that is NOT going to happen.
The receptionist also called in the dosage on one of my other meds and everytime I call, she tells me what I want to hear. Or puts me on hold. Until I hang up.
Dr. R really did help me and his staff was great before. His PA no longer works there, his top nurse is gone on maternety leave and the other receptionist is gone as well.
I'm becoming really frustrated. I don't want to switch Doc's but will if I have too.
I can't do the therapy he wants me to do if I can't get the drugs or even the prescriptions for them!
If anyone has the same experience or can recommend a good LLMD, regardless of location, please post it here.
I'm sad that it's come to this but my health comes first. Therapy shouldn't be held up because of bureaucracy.
